596 Acres Seeking Django Developer


596 Acres is looking for a Python and Django full-stack developer to help create a new website based on our Living Lots framework. You will work with our lead developer (Eric) to map vacant land and provide organizing tools (similar to Living Lots NYC) in a new and exciting location.


Requirements:
  • Python and Django
  • Front-end work, including CSS and JavaScript
  • JavaScript build tools such as Webpack, Grunt, or Gulp
Nice-to-haves:
  • Familiarity working with open data, including map data
  • Server administration
  • New York-based

Expect to work 150 hours, and the pay is $5,000 for the project. If all goes well there will likely be other opportunities for you with the organization.
