Hospitality group is currently seeking qualified in house pastry person, who has chocolate making experience as well as brunch pastries. That person will be responsible for desert menu that must change seasonally for 2 venues.
All candidates should have:
* minimum 2 years experience working in a restaurant in New York City.
* Availability to work full time, for brunch, lunch and dinner service, weekdays and weekends according to the needs of the venues
*Demonstrated ability to check freshness of food and ingredients prior to cooking
*Substantial knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
*Well-versed in cleaning work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware
*Able to work in a team environment and take directions
*Self-motivated, organized and be detailed oriented
*Exceptional problem solving abilities
*Committed to quality service
