Open Call for a Fine Dining Restaurant CAPTAIN!

Fine Dining restaurant is looking for an experienced, knowledgeable and enthusiastic Captain.

Date & Time:
Tuesday, 9/6/2016 from 12:00noon - 3:00pm

Wednesday, 9/7/2016 from 2:00pm - 6:00pm

Location:
1 East 15th Street, New York, NY, 10003
(Between Union Square & 5th Avenue)


Requirements:
* Candidates must have at least four years NYC fine-dining experience as captain with full availability
* Candidates with fine dining experience and excellent interpersonal skills, as well as a proven dedication to both the art and business of hospitality.
* Must be able to multi task and pay attention to details.
* Ideal candidate has a good personality, knowledge of food, and ability to work in a fast paced environment.
* Professionalism and punctuality is the key to succeed in any hospitality position!!

Duties & Responsibilities:
* The Captains responsibility is to serve guests in an accommodating and professional manner and to ensure total guest satisfaction.
* The Captain is responsible for a specific station and should always be present on the floor making sure that service runs smoothly.
* The Captain will not only be knowledgeable and passionate about food, wine, and service in general, they will also possess a commanding knowledge of the food, wine, and service.
* French cuisine and French/Italian wines knowledge required.
* He/she will be the main personal contact and ambassador to guide guests through their meal.
* The Captain must have an ability to lead their team, and will control the pace and flow of all the tables in their station.
